Tenugui! All the things you can do with these versatile, Japanese towels. Wear them on your head like a bandana, use them to wrap gifts, use them to wrap water bottles, use them to stop the bleeding... You know, the usual stuff. Or, if you do kendo, you already know what you're going to use this for.

We have a very personal love for tenugui at Tofugu. That's why we chose the highest grade fabric, dyes (it's not printed), and had it made by a well known tenugui shop in Japan. We spared no expense when making this tenugui.

This particular design comes from our WaniKani website. You may have recognized it from our footer! It features the WaniKani Crabigator, Kintaro, and a Kappa, just because. You may also recognize the color as "kanji pink." Crayola should seriously just get it over with and name a crayon after it.

You can use it as a bandana, as a decoration, as an eco-friendly way to wrap gifts, or even as a gift (wrap it up with another tenugui?). Or, if you do kendo you'll wrap it around your head to catch your sweat and keep your equipment clean. The ways to use a tenugui are basically endless, and they look nice too.

Each tenugui comes with a random personalized postcard as well. Who knows what we'll write to you.
